Tehama Emergency Shelter Project
Tehama Emergency Shelter Kits “TESK” is one of the most successful shelter projects implemented for supporting and protecting IDPs in Tehama areas, it is designed especially for hot environment and for the appropriate coastal areas as an effective local solution against hot climate. The project is fully funded by UNHCR and it aims at providing assistance and protection to IDPs with a special focus on the most vulnerable cases and those people living in the open. It takes the initial steps to kick-off sustainable shelter solutions chain that touch the lives of the rural families and improve the safety standards as it is designed to enhance the self-reliance of rural IDPs people and communities to better cope with crises, risks, and shocks.
